• Prequalification letter requirement: must be from a Kahuina project lender (specially trained for HHFDC qualification).

• Prepare early: gather required documents so you can submit immediately once applications are live.

• Buyback Program: Ensures affordability for 10 years with owner occupancy required
• Shared Appreciation Equity (SAE): HHFDC shares in future appreciation; percentage is set prior to closing and payable upon resale (can be paid off anytime after closing)
